Vice President - CTO
Description and Requirements
The CTO will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, development, and implementation of IT initiatives that align with the program and company goals. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in managing large-scale IT projects, driving innovation, and ensuring the highest standards of IT service delivery.
Duties
- Primary point of contact for all matters related to the IT development and maintenance of Contractor systems to include the electronic scheduling capability.
- Manage and oversee system performance, troubleshooting, integration with the DXP, user support, security, and system upgrades.
- Develop and execute design, implementation, and management of scalable and secure IT applications and infrastructure.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers and ensuring service level agreements are met.
- Oversee the continued development and implementation of data management strategies to ensure data quality, accessibility, and security ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards governing IT and data management practices.
- Identify and mitigate IT-related risks, ensuring robust cybersecurity measures and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Manage the IT budget, optimizing resource allocation and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of IT services.
The Contractor shall designate a dedicated IT Manager as the primary point of contact for all matters related to the IT development and maintenance of Contractor systems to include the electronic scheduling capability. The CTO shall manage and oversee system performance, troubleshooting, integration with the DXP, user support, security, and system upgrades. The CTO shall oversee the design, implementation, and management of scalable and secure IT applications and infrastructure. Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role.
- Skills:
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale IT projects and programs.
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development, and cybersecurity.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Degree/Education: The CTO shall possess a Master’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or a related field—at a minimum.
The CTO shall have at least ten years’ experience in a senior technology leadership role or CTO role. The CTO shall have demonstrated experience in healthcare, cloud infrastructure, software development, software engineering, cybersecurity frameworks, enterprise applications, data analytics for decision making, and IT governance practices.
The CTO should also have experience with DXP, systems performance and user support.
